I was in UST when my father called me up and said that my cousin, Sarah Pagcaliwagan, who happened to be the Line Producer of the film Alfredo S. Lim The Untold Story, gave us a set of complimentary tickets for the film’s red carpet premiere.
The premiere has been set to start at 7pm last February 26, 2013 at Sm Manila Cinema 1, unfortunately my class ends at 7pm. Still, we decided to come although we knew we’re gonna be late. We arrived at 8pm and went straight to the cinema. The premiere went through and well. Side by side I saw Mr. Cesar Montano.
After the premiere we thought that we’re gonna go straight back home already coz my mother and I still had to go to school the next day. But my cousin called me up through phone and said that we’re gonna have our dinner at President Grand Palace in Ongpin, but we never knew until then that the dinner will be held together with Mayor himself and Mr. Montano. 
In the restaurant, we had our pictures taken with different artists who have been involved in the film.
Well, the pictures here have only been taken through phone so please just bear with me. =) By the way, This is a Cesar Montano Film and has been presented by CM FILMS INC. and SM CINEMA.

am i guilty? that is one of the questions i ask to myself whenever i hear stories of the people who are less fortunate than us. one time, i heard a story about a guy who was not given a normal life. he was not given a normal life because he is not a normal person, he is a special one. he was asked to mention all his “wants” for christmas. he answered. he said he wanna have some clothes, shoes and slippers, and a 100 peso bill.
realizing that a 100 peso bill is less than a cup of coffee for teenagers now, i told myself, am i guilty? the fact that 100 pesos for him is a very large amount which he can actually maximize in his own ways touched my mind, thinking that i myself cannot live a day with only 100 pesos. i always say, i am living a simple life. i am living a simple life but now, what is simple life for us? to spend the whole day surfing the net? well, for us that is simple living. but i realized that for some, they don’t need to pay for the internet nor to buy an expensive cup of coffee to live a day. i think what they do is simpler than what we do everyday.
they don’t need thousands of money to be happy, just 100 pesos. 100 pesos for us, more than a treasure of happiness for them. isn’t it simple?
we have more than a dozen of clothes, more than one pair of shoes, and more than one pair of slippers. for them, they just need one pair, at least. BECAUSE THEY ARE SIMPLER THAN US.
we don’t need to be a special one to live like them, we just need to think of some little things that will make us happier than before, without spending large amount of money and without sacrificing our time for our love ones.
